SOCIAL MEDIA RELEASE - The Fiestavus Comedy Tour of Vermont
In a strange twist on the clown car convention, a handful of hilarious Vermont comedians are packing themselves into a bright green 2011 Ford Fiesta and taking it on the road at the end of August, performing standup comedy at five different venues around the Green Mountain State.
The "Fiestavus Comedy Tour" is the product of a collaboration between two native Vermonters: Burlington comic Nathan Hartswick and Ford Fiesta "agent" Seth Beck. The tour aims to bring comedy to Vermonters and give them a peek at the new Fiesta in the process.
Earlier this year Beck was a winner of the "Fiesta Movement," a contest that awarded 100 "agents" the use of a new Fiesta for six months. Winners share their experiences and build buzz for the U.S. launch of the car next year.
Hartswick is a director, performer and comedian who grew up doing theater and sketch comedy in the Northeast Kingdom.
Also performing on each show will be [some/all of] the following Vermont comics: Lindsay Going, Avi Waring, Thom Hartswick, John Lyons, Tracie Spencer, Mike Robideau and Martha Tormey.

• Standup comedians from Vermont are touring the state during the last week in August.
• Venues will include Big Picture Theater (Waitsfield), Positive Pie (Montpelier), Hartswick Studio (Sheffield), On the Rise Bakery (Richmond) and One Half Lounge (Burlington).
• Dates run from August 26 – September 2, 2009.
• The new Ford Fiesta will be on display at each event as part of the "Fiesta Movement."
• Ford awarded Fiestas to 100 "agents" to use for 6 months. They share their experiences and build buzz for the U.S. launch of the car in 2010.
