Twice now, I have set out on FiestaMovement adventures expecting to find one outcome only to stumble upon something much grander. First it was the trip across the US that was billed as a snowboarding fueled adventure and ended up opening my eyes to the grandeur of my homeland and the love of my life. This time I eyed a simple weekend of filming with friends and found an appreciation for the lands of my childhood and the simple slivers of life.

This is the story of how it came to be.

Sometimes when you are in the moment, you fail to recognize the full impact of an experience. It all may seem pretty normal and mundane as you live out the details.

When you have a chance to reflect, it becomes more and more apparent just how unique it was. This was one such experience and this is the Jesus Loves Tractors photo post.

Half way to WV I pulled over and dialed into a company conference call. After the meat of the meeting was complete, I was asked, "So how likely do you think it is that you will get injured this weekend?" I quickly replied, "Well, I have actually already visited the ER after I cut myself at 2:30am on a jug in my kitchen." There was a long silence on the other end of the line, then someone said,

"Perhaps you should have spent the weekend mastering your kitchen before moving on to extreme sports."

I am taking off tonight for points south in the wee Fiesta. To locate the spirit of the trip, I was watching some videos as Isadora wandered by. I looked down at the puzzled face of my daughter as she was enthralled with the current video. I told her, "That's what dad is doing this weekend," She looked at me with a questioning face, "Skydiving? You are going to jump out of a plane?" Then she ran off.
